UTC Technology/Product Solution Providers

Has your company developed a technology solution that is targeted to utilities or municipalities? CTSI is already working with its world-class partner committee to identify the Top Utility Technologies for 2012. (List of 2010 winners).
Program Benefits:
- Opportunity to be selected as a “Top Utility Technology” and to showcase technology/solution to utility, municipal and industrial partners/customers
- Gain visibility to broad range of US utilities and municipalities
- Educate utilities and municipalities on the value of solution
- Find testing and validation partners
- Exposure to broader CTSI membership including industrial & commercial partners and investors
NOTE: There are no fees associated with submitting an application! Organizations participating in the Utility Technology Challenge, and selected as a 'Top Utility Technology' will receive a free registration to the Clean Technology Conference to present their solution.
Program Requirements:
Submissions are not yet open for 2012, but companies interested in submitting into the program must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Incorporation with a minimum of two (2) employees
- Technology is ready for customer testing (early-stage/beta testing is acceptable)
- Technology falls into one of the following categories: :
- Smart Grid
- Industrial/Commercial Energy Efficiency
- Demand Response & Load Management
- Renewable Energy
- Distributed Generation
- Grid Energy Storage
- Transmission & Distribution
- Transportation
- Reliability & Service Management
- Carbon Management & Reduction
Submission Guidelines & Notifications:
- A maximum of three (3) submissions are allowed per company/large division. Mulitiple submissions must represent unique/distinct products.
- CTSI may contact the submitting company to verify data/information provided. Companies not responding to information requests are subject to disqualification.
- Only publicly available data should be used in filling out the submission form. The information provided will be used by the UTC partner committee and provided to interested, qualified testing partners.
The submission process closed on February 18, 2011 and will re-open in the fall for 2012.
