Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification Program

Primary Partner Group & Utility Technology Challenge Sponsors:

AC-NET City of Anaheim Austin Energy
Lockheed Martin National Grid Northeast Utilites

With support from the US Department of Energy, the Clean Technology & Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI) launched a program to address a critical challenge faced by organizations in the clean tech space: finding the right test and adoption partners.

While the Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification project is currently focused on U.S. utilities and municipalities, CTSI recognizes the overlap between industrial solutions and utility/municipal-targeted solutions, and the role that large systems integrators play in the design and implementation of large-scale clean technology solutions.

Organizations that are seeking to identify new clean technology solutions may participate in the following ways:

  1. Submit an Identified Testing Partner form as an industrial test partner. See guidelines below. CTSI will work to match CTSI technology member companies with potential testing and funding opportunities.

  2. Become a CTSI Member Organization to gain access to categorized and reviewed technology solutions and work with CTSI to actively identify potential partnerships.

  3. Sponsor the Utility Technology Challenge to develop relationships with participating utilities and municipalities, and to assist with technology evaluations of submitting technology/solution companies.

Submission Guidelines & Notifications:

  • In order to identify potential test partners and identify trends, we need to collect a brief amount of information regarding your organization.
  • CTSI may contact the submitting organization to clarify information provided.
  • Only publically available data should be used in filling out the submission form. The information provided will be seen by CTSI partners, members and is available for use by the US Department of Energy.

The application process closed on February 18, 2011, and Top Utility Technology companies have been announced. To stay abreast of current UTC news, please subscribe to our mailing list.
