Utility Technology Challenge - 2010 Technology Report
Matching technology solutions to utility and industry partners
With support from the US Department of Energy, the Clean Technology & Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI) launched the Utility Technology Challenge (UTC) program in 2009 to match companies with innovative utility-scale technology solutions with world-class testing and adoption partners. The 2010 UTC Committee evaluated over 150 clean energy solutions, selecting fifteen companies for recognition as a "Top 15 Utility Technology". Many of the winning companies are now actively engaged in partnership discussions and activities with committee members.
In order to identify additional testing partners for its 2010 participating companies, CTSI is offering the 2010 Utility Technology Challenge Report to qualified* organizations that are seeking new technology providers for their sustainability projects. The 2010 Technology Report includes:
- Over 100 utility-targeted solutions profiled including the Top 15 Utility Technology Solutions
- Detailed profiles with information on stage of company, technical maturity ROI, partnership needs and value proposition
- UTC Committee summary evaluation rankings (provided for most solutions)
- Company contact information

Organization, name and title of person requesting, phone number, and brief description of the organization’s technology testing program(s). Only qualifed* potential test partners are eligible to receive the report.
*Qualified partners are organizations that are capable of serving as active testing partners for utility-scale technology solutions. CTSI reserves the right to accept or deny all requests for access to the Utility Technology Challenge 2010 report.
About the UTC
The Utility Technology Challenge is the first program launched under the CTSI cleanTest series.
