| Abstract: | In the present study, we reported a novel type of proton transport material comprised of “liquid” nano carbon (2) embedded in a polymer matrix to form proton conducting nanocomposit. The nanocomposit exhibits excellent proton transport properties and excellent film forming properties as “liquid” nano carbon demonstrated superior dispersion stability in a wide range of binders, especially, emulsion polymers and highly cross linking polymers. The nanocomposit membrane also demonstrated the capability of coating with well known coating process such as dip coating, spin coating, spray coating, roll coating, blade coating, rod coating, and inkjet printing... The proton conducting nanocomposit exhibits superior heat and solvent resistance over the commercial PEM products in the market. |
