Abstract:The aim of this paper is the suitability of evaluation of bacterial leaching applied on the brown coals samples from mine CSA Most. The results of this work show that using clean bacterial cultures of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans is in the case very good if we evaluate desulphurization from point of pyrite sulphur, after one month of leaching is almost gone from sample contains much organic sulphur which is produced by bacteria Thiobacillus ferrooxidans degraded only a little. From the results follow that by bacterial leaching is desulphurization of total sulphur about 30 % and desulphurization of pyritic sulphur is about 30 % too.
