SunShot Initiative

OE’s "SunShot" initiative aims to dramatically decrease the total costs of solar energy at the utility, commercial and residential level by 75% before the end of the decade. This comprehensive initiative includes investments by DOE's Office of Science, Solar Energy Technologies Program, and ARPA-E, the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy.
