Clean Energy Trust

The Clean Energy Trust was created to help transform the best clean energy ideas from concept to the marketplace. The Trust nurtures promising early stage technologies into viable businesses – with the goal of making Illinois and the Midwest a leading center for clean-energy entrepreneurship.
Founded as a nonprofit corporation by a dynamic group of business and civic leaders, the Trust works with universities, research labs, foundations, corporations, government agencies and financial experts to commercialize clean energy solutions. Support provided by the Trust includes technical assistance, financial assistance, education and awareness building.
