Scott has executive responsibility at Hawaiian Electric for system and corporate planning, renewable energy procurement, deployment of new energy technologies, and electric grid operations. He has been with the company for twenty years, and over the last five years has helped to lead Hawaiian Electric’s clean energy transformation strategy. Scott received both Bachelor and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. He is a member of EPRI’s Research Advisory Committee, chairs the Dean’s Council of the University of Hawaii College of Engineering, and serves on the boards of several Hawaii nonprofit organizations.
