Since 2006, Ron has been focused on sustainable transportation and clean energy in the Asia Pacific and North America. He currently runs Greenlots, a developer of open charging networks for electric vehicles which has sold systems in 13 countries. Ron also helped establish Annex Power, one of the largest clean energy groups in Asia that has built 100 MW of solar, biogas and wind projects.
In 2004, Ron foresaw that the US was heading towards a massive housing crisis and led an investment in and turnaround of The Walz Group. Walz quickly became the leading mortgage default communications company in the US and ranked #45 on the Inc. 500 (2008).
Previously, Ron established the Japan operations for Colony Capital, a global private equity group.
Ron graduated from Berkeley where he launched his first start-up, the Credit Union for Berkeley Students.
