Megan Strand is a member of the project finance group at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. Originally from Honolulu, HI, Megan is resident in the firm's Washington, DC office. Megan's practice focuses on the financing and development of renewable energy projects. Megan also has experience advising clients on corporate and regulatory issues in the telecommunications and technology sectors, and is active in Chadbourne's pro bono program. Megan has worked on renewable energy projects in over a dozen states, including Hawaii, Arizona and California. Past representative matters include advising project sponsors on the tax equity and debt financing of various solar projects (both distributed and utility-scale PV and CSP) throughout the US, representing project sponsors in connection with loan guarantees from the US Department of Energy for the development of a 150MW solar project in Arizona, a 50MW wind project in Maine and 30MW solar project in Colorado, representing a project sponsor in the levered tax equity financing of fuel cell projects in Delaware, and representing developers, lenders and tax equity investors in various financings for wind energy projects across the US. Megan received her BA and JD from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Chadbourne, Megan worked for Senator Daniel K. Inouye (D-HI).
