U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC)
Mr. Ben Tritt is the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Science Advisor to the Commanding General of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC). His focus areas at MARFORPAC include expeditionary energy, logistics, security systems, seabasing initiatives, and ship-to-shore connectors. In 2013 he chaired the USMC Operational Force Science, Technology and Experimentation Operational Advisory Group which contributes directly to the USMC Science & Technology Strategic Plan. He has broad experience with research & development, product development, management, manufacturing, energy savings technologies, thermal processes, missile defense, ship self-defense, electro-optic infra-red systems, command and control, missiles, launcher systems, and Naval gunnery.
Mr. Tritt acquired his B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree (Summa Cum Laude) and his M.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. Mr. Tritt is registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Professional Engineer. He is a member of the Department of Defense Acquisition Professional Community and has earned a DAWIA Level II certification in Program Management and a Level III certification in Systems Planning, Research and Development and Engineering.
