In mid 2014 Primus Power will deliver a 250 kW EnergyPod energy storage system to the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Miramar, California. At MCAS the EnergyPod will be integrated with an existing solar photovoltaic system and an energy command and control system to form a microgrid. This talk will review the microgrid’s high level goals, overall design, critical subsystems, implementation schedule and expected benefits.
