Bryan E. Miller is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of BEM Int’l, LLC, a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (DVSOB) established in the Great State of Wyoming in February 2011 and Headquartered in Sheridan. BEM Int’l, LLC is a private, for-profit consulting company specializing in renewable energy siting, wind turbine/radar interference mitigation, aerospace surveillance system/energy project de-confliction, and business process analysis, integration and optimization. BEM’s cornerstone contract is with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) supporting Wind/Radar Research & Development projects for the Department of Energy. Bryan’s core statement of work with SNL exercises his expertise in steering interagency R&D efforts, coordinating across interagency lines, and supporting various wind energy related research projects. He is both a consultant and key a team member of the Multi-departmental Interagency Field Test and Evaluation (IFT&E) Program (a joint DOE, DOD, DHS, DOT, DOC, SNL & MIT Lincoln Laboratory test program for mature wind turbine/radar interference mitigation systems).
In addition to his aerospace surveillance capabilities expertise, Lt Col Miller is a Command Pilot with over 2,500 flight hours in multiple aircraft including the KC-135, the C-21A, the T-38A, the T-37B, the T-41, the TG-7A, light civil aircraft, and multiple sailplanes. He is a combat veteran with extensive world-wide air refueling operations experience and years of special air mission expertise. Bryan is a 1988 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and has since earned two masters degrees, a Master’s of Aeronautical Science (MAS) Degree / Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, FL and a Master’s of Military Operational Art and Science Degree / Air University, Maxwell AFB, AL and had completed all phases of professional military education commensurate with his rank before retirement in February 2011.
