Where Talk Works, Inc.
Linda M. Colburn is the President of Where Talk Works, Inc., Honolulu, Hawai‘i, which assists non-profits, profit and public sector entities in strategic planning, community outreach and group facilitation, dispute resolution and senor leadership support services. She has served as Executive Director of the Hawai‘i Nature Center and led a staff that offered environmental education opportunities for over 25,000 school children per year in Hawai‘i. Ms. Colburn also served as the Felix Consent Decree Operations Manager in the Office of the Governor of the State of Hawai‘i responsible for coordinating the State’s compliance with a federal consent decree requiring special education support to children with special needs.
Ms. Colburn was also the Administrator of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), and oversaw a staff of 90 working in five offices Statewide with an annual operating budget of $8.5 million.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Communication from Lewis and Clark College, and has been involved in numerous alternative dispute resolution, community relations and outreach, and leadership development initiatives.
