Neil E. Rondorf is Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he is presently leader of SAIC’s development efforts in marine renewable energy technologies. Neil is a Director of the Ocean Renewable Energy Coalition (OREC) which represents the marine renewable energy industry in Washington, D.C. and he is Chairman IEC technical standards committee (TC-114) which is developing international standards for wave, tidal and water current devices. Neil is also serves as a Director of the International Cable Protection Committee and is a Founding Industrial Partner of the Virginia Coastal Energy Research Consortium. Neil received his Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1974, a Master’s Equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from the Naval Nuclear Power Program in 1976 and a Master’s Equivalent in International Relations from the Naval War College, Newport, RI in 1997.
