Mr. Nutting serves as Energy & Utilities Program Manager for the U.S. Marine Corps Base in Hawaii. He has served as Manager for more than 20 years. He is responsible for managing all aspects of energy and water conservation program in over 900 buildings of most types, totaling over 6 million square feet, for an average population of 25,000 at several locations.
During his time at the U.S. Marine Corps Base in Hawaii, he initiated and managed two Energy Savings Performance Contracts for all facilities, with potential investment over $24 million, with annual savings over $4 million; established and implemented automation/improvements in utilities metering, accounting, and billing procedures; and was instrumental in reducing annual electrical energy consumption by 7%, producing $6M cost avoidance in utilities bills from FY08 to FY09.
Mr. Nutting holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, and holds a Civil Engineering PE License in Hawaii.
