Executive Summary:A realistic battery system diagnosis and prognosis can be realized with our developed approach from cells to systems. Our novel approach is based on fundamental understanding of battery behavior and degradation. We can quantify battery degradation modes and provide accurate diagnosis and prognosis with path dependent capability.
