Commission on Water Resource Management, State of Hawaii
Lenore Ohye is the Hydrologic Planning Program Manager for the Commission on Water Resource Management and is responsible for the overall management of the Branch, coordinating and directing the development of plans, studies and scientific investigations involving water resource assessments and use. Ms. Ohye has been with the Commission for over 15 years, working in the areas of ground water regulation and long-range water planning. She has a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received her master’s degree from University of Oregon, specializing in water resource management. Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Ohye worked as a hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey in Portland, Oregon and Honolulu, Hawaii, specializing in surface water hydrology and watershed modeling.
