Scott has served as chief executive officer for Hoku Corporation since April 2010. He first joined Hoku in 2003 as its vice president of business development and general counsel, then served as chief operating officer starting in October 2008.
Before entering the clean-energy field, Scott worked as a corporate attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1998. He served as the director of business development and associate general counsel at Read-Rite Corporation, a publicly-traded multi-national company. He also worked as an attorney at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, representing high-tech emerging growth and large-cap public companies on financing and M&A transactions.
Scott earned his JD cum laude from Santa Clara Law School and his BA in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
