Alastair MacGregor is a member of AECOM’s West Coast Building Engineering management team, responsible for the management and growth of the High Performance Buildings Group which specializes in Low energy Design, Advanced Simulation and Commissioning. Originally from the UK, he has worked on a wide range of projects, covering a variety of market sectors, on both sides of the Atlantic.

Mr. MacGregor has gained significant experience in the evaluation, use and implementation of sustainable design solutions within a variety of markets. Mr MacGregor has led sustainability and energy related projects around the world. His experience ranges from the development of low energy masterplans for the $15Bn GJMMP program in Guam and eco-cities in Singapore and Tianjin to the complete design of the new NASA Sustainability Base in Mountain View. A significant number of these projects have resulted in innovative, cost effective and low energy design solutions to be incorporated while following various sustainable certification procedures including LEED, BREEAM (UK), GreenMark (Singapore) and HK BEAM (HongKong).
