Team Leader for Technology Deployment in the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP)

James Quinn is the Team Leader for Technology Deployment in the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP); part of the Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy in the U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Quinn leads DOE’s Save Energy Now program which is working with the largest industrial plants in the U.S. to conduct energy savings assessments, and is partnering with industry, states and utilities to encourage the use of the latest technologies to save energy and reduce CO2. He also heads ITP’s international activities which include work with the Asia Pacific Partnership for Clean Development and Climate, the U.S./China Strategic Economic Dialogue initiative to assist China in conducting energy savings assessments on its 1000 largest plants, and the International Energy Agency Industrial and Energy Related Systems Technology Committee.
