Clean Technology 2008

CTSI Clean Technology Leadership Caucus

Clean Technology Ventures

The Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Leadership Caucus will convene at the 2008 CSI Clean Technology conference to be held in Boston, Massachusetts at the Hynes Convention Center June 3, 2008. The Caucus will be the launch of a program intending to develop consensus positions on a broad range of key issues in clean and sustainable development.

There is huge potential economic and social upside to developing solutions to the world’s critical climate change, water quality, and air quality problems and the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Leadership Caucus will be a driving force for coordinated program development as well as advocacy for their adoption at the federal, state, and local levels of government.

Showcase: Is your State a Green State?

The Leadership Caucus provides a forum through which the chief elected officials of the states and cities together with the business community cooperatively develop consensus on common policy issues and multi-jurisdictional and multi-stakeholder challenges to promote clean technology development, profitable commercialization and global integration of sustainable industry practices, enabling the transformation of businesses, governments and society towards a more sustainable global economy.

The Caucus cooperates and collaborates with leaders and agencies from the private, non-profit, and public sectors that seek to work toward the common goal of creating safer, cleaner and more productive world.

With a foundation of collaboration and consensus-based decision-making, the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Leadership Caucus will play a key role in helping to develop partnerships between stakeholders and proactively set goals that embrace environmental, social, and ethical concerns while addressing the opportunity for economic and workforce development.
