Pete Moller is Managing Director of IP Equity, a joint initiative of GE Trading and Licensing (GET&L) and GE Commercial Finance 's equity group, with the mandate to seek investment opportunities in leading edge technologies and intellectual property that promise significant new advances or growth within their industries.

In this role, Pete is responsible for executing new investments and forming collaborative partnerships in companies at any stage of their technology development, focusing on opportunities with innovative and proprietary technology or intellectual property which are ideally complementary to GEs research programs and technologies IP Equitys most recent acquisition, in partnership with GE Water, was the purchase of SENSICORE, a company with leading edge technology and IP in smart, hand-held sensor systems for measuring and monitoring water quality in the field.

Prior to his current position, Pete was Executive Vice President of Patent Licensing and Technology Development at GET&L, leading GEs corporate patent licensing activities and GET&Ls technology development at GEs Global Research Center (GRC). During this period the business achieved consistent double-digit growth in annual income, while substantially expanding investments in technology development at GRC. Pete has been with GE for over 27 years, with over 20 years of experience in patent and technology acquisition and licensing. A Boston area native, Pete received his B.A. in Finance and MBA, with High Distinction, from Babson College and maintains offices both at GRC and in New York City.
