Abstract:
Layne Christensen was selected to provide this “Integrated Membrane Systems” using Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis to treat Municipal Waste Water. Our scope of supply on this turnkey project included providing detailed design, manufacturing and installation. The Ethanol Facility will be the first of over 100 Ethanol Facilities in the United States to treat Municipal Waste Water for the Cooling Tower, Boiler and Process requirements. Ultrafiltration was selected due to the capability of providing the best available pretreatment for the RO System and a dual membrane barrier for the Ethanol plant.
