Abstract:

Proprietary technology to synthesize nanoparticles that can emit visible light upon excitation by invisible light. This material can be employed to identify and authenticate distant objects by interrogating with the invisible radiation (example, infra-red), without being noticed. This technology has tremendous scope for application in defense.
