Abstract:

Proprietary technology to synthesize non-toxic nanoparticles which absorb ultraviolet light and emit white-light. These materials are potential candidates for use in sun-creams and sun glasses. Incorporation of them into building materials such as glass and polymers can lead to self-lighting windows and walls in buildings.
