The focus of this presentation will be the top eight intellectual property issues VCs should consider when evaluating investment opportunities. The presenter, Michael Messinger, is a director (partner) at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C., a Washington, D.C.-based intellectual property law firm that has a CleanTech sm Industry Group among its practice specialties. Mr. Messenger has worked closely with the VC community and is an advisor on how to avoid many of the stumbling blocks encountered when IP is an after thought as opposed to an integral part of the investment evaluation process.
