Abstract:

The German market for renewable energy products is the largest market globally in a number of market segments. This presentation will cover opportunities for foreign companies to take advantage of the rapid growth including market size, recent and projected growth rates. It will cover recent and pending developments regarding special incentive programs like the feed-in-tariff and manufacturing incentives (up to 50%). Concrete examples of foreign companies who have successfully taken advantage of these opportunities like EverQ, First Solar as well as examples from the biofuels and other renewable energy market segments will be discussed in detail.
